How to make hand disinfection a fun gesture?

How to make hand disinfection a fun gesture?

5 May 2021

Today, May 5, World Hand Hygiene Day is celebrated, a date marked by the World Health Organization. And currently, in the middle of a pandemic, hand hygiene has become a daily routine for millions of people all around the world. But does this gesture always have to be dull and felt like an obligation? Can't we do anything to cheer him up a little?

With this in mind, HAAN has built a line of hand sanitizers, rich in colors and aromas. Chromotherapy and aromatherapy have already been shown to have the power to influence people's moods, emotions, and behavior, and can brighten up this new normal.

Here are the meanings that each color has and what it can bring to your day-to-day:

  • Orange: it is a symbol of courage, kindness, and optimism. The Sunset Fleur and Healing Chrysants ranges are represented by this color, and have a feminine and floral aroma, in the case of the first, and a relaxing aroma of green basil and cardamom, in the case of the latter.

  • Yellow: this is a color that transmits light, energy, and warmth, being the symbol of creativity and youth. Within the HAAN products, there are two ranges that present this color: Citrus Noon, with its effervescent and fresh aroma, in a citrus orange base, and Tranquil Camomile, with a soft aroma of chamomile and star anise, which conveys tranquility.

  • Green: symbol of hope, life, and health, also associated with nature. And it is this smell of nature that we can find in the Dew of Dawn ranges (fresh aroma of green roots, a base of freshly cut grass notes, and a slight hint of galbanum) and Purifying Verbena (fresh aroma of verbena flowers).

  • Blue: it is the color of dreams, imagination, and knowledge. In HAAN products, it can be found in the Morning Glory range, which has a delicate, subtle, and floral aroma, wrapped in notes of fresh green tea and a grapefruit base.

  • Violet/Lavender: associated with magic, these colors represent intuition and respect. It is also the color of lavender, which is the relaxing and floral aroma found in the Soothing Lavender range.

  • Pink: the symbolism of this color is mainly related to beauty and romanticism, but also to femininity. At HAAN, this color is represented in the Bright Rose range, with a sweet and fresh aroma of pink and green geranium.

  • Black: this last color places its symbolism in the mystery and sophistication. The Wood Night range represents this color well, with its aroma of dark cedar and pine, on a base of wet earth.

And after this rainbow of colors and aromas, the hard part will be choosing, right? The best advice I can give you is: try it! I assure you that you will not regret it!

See you soon!
